We can all agree that RHCP would be more appealing if they sounded exactly like Deerhoof and nothing like RHCP.

So you've seen me spam Grumpster on here the last few days. The singer is Donnie Walsh who used to play bass for Destroy Boys, and I probably like these guys even more. They dropped an album last year so idk, but there's a new single. Let's hope. I dig this one a lot either way.

I noticed this kind of odd structure after several listens. We have a number of separate parts, each individually strong, that sort of fly by, and there's something of a buildup toward that last section, but then it all ends. No repetition, no time to really establish a chorus. I love when bands leave things alone like that.
