I will go to bat for a scant handful of material from early !!! and Out Hud whose Tyler Pope went on to jam with LCDS for a spell.

Never listened to A.R.E. Weapons but Thomas Bullock regrouped and founded the Rub N' Tug party/DJ unit. Their mix for Fabric is one of my all-time favorite house mixes. Big basement party popper bathouse energy

Just listened to a couple records. Murphy has to be a huge Pink Floyd fan. From the sound of "Never as Tired..." to the lyric "set the controls for the heart of the sun" to a track called "Us vs Them." I admit the latter could be reaching, or could be double meaning.

All day long.

Also, the kid606 remix of The Rapture's Notes.

I was aware of Liquid Liquid, but listening in the context of LCD… yeah, he borrowed a lot.

Out Hud was great!

Recommend checking out A.R.E. Weapons. Fun stuff.

CRAP.

Does absolutely nothing for me. I try because (as someone else noted) some pals really dig this crew a lot.

Absolutely nothing there for me. No waffles, this is not for me, god bless them an all who ride with them.

Considering he's somewhat famous, documentation of his recording career/credits pre-dance music are kinda scant. He did some Turing Machine and Les Savy Fav records too.
