Brutally. But more likely the cops will be part of the mob. A man can dream. Maybe a whole crowd refusing to yield to a riot control tank gets chewed up in the tracks on TV? YES!
It's a lovely thought, but Cops gonna Cop.

Maybe the military intervention would do it right, fuck knows. Wouldn't hold out any hope.

Fuck around should always equal find out, for sure.

It will be close. Harris will win, there will be a lot of hyper-aggressive talk clogging the internet and airwaves (certainly aggravated by gun-happy Muricans who want nothing more than to put projectiles into other humans, and by the Russians and their compromised actors here), likely a few spasms of violence, and then it will die down and the regular struggle will resume between the party that seeks to improve people's lives and the party that only seeks power and maintaining a status quo that enables them to steal.

Abolish the Electoral College. Fix the Judicial Branch. Fix the mechanism that allows public servants to become grotesquely-enriched simply due to the office they hold. Restore reproductive rights. Tax the rich.

Cautiously optimistic, but I don't want to jinx it and count those chickens before they hatch. So no vote.

Guessing that being a Very Online Guy, or Gal, won't be too savory in the coming weeks. This isn't likely to "bring out the best in people" on social media. Focusing on other areas of one's life might be a healthy alternative.

I could be out of line here, but I've got the sneaking suspicion that this election could turn out to be like the Titan submersible implosion in that almost anyone that has anything to say about it past a certain point will inspire nausea, groans, and come off like an overstuffed horse's ass. That might include political top brass and those whose actual job it is to report on this for major networks. As I've said before, the biggest thing Trump has counting against him now is that so many people are just BEYOND TIRED of him and all his shit. It's worse than the O.J. Simpson case. Worse than it was living in Milwaukee during Jeffrey Dahmer. Worse than it was for us recently dealing with two hurricanes in as many weeks (didn't watch any TV coverage of it). I suspect that if Trump wins most news networks other than Fox will experience a dip in ratings and ad revenue. The good news is, local parks and bars without televisions might experience more traffic.
ZzzZzzZzzz . . .

That’s a given. So then it’s a matter of Column A Column B-ing all the rest.

538 had shifted to a 51% chance Trump wins. Which in my book is a “who fucking knows” from them.

A few of the election specific media channels I follow on YT are pushing a lot of under the radar stuff about Trump campaign fuck ups and his increasing derangement. Evidently Trump calmed down the BS and increased the rally pace in 16 and 20. This time he’s saying more dumb shit and cancelling events and not doing tough interviews.

Will that make a difference?
