I first heard the Rod Stewart urban legend waaay before I was old enough to know a thing about anatomy.
In the version I was told, see, women’s breasts have a thin film on them—so thin that casual exposure didn’t put you at risk.
But Rod Stewart’s exposure wasn’t casual.
No, Rod Stewart had licked a looooooooooooottta titties.
So many that his stomach filled up . . .
I think we're talking about two different substances...
Oh, I know. I’m sure the urban legend spread around my schoolyard in this way because we were in, like, second or third grade. Nobody knew what semen is.

Oh, I have a good one. In the 80s we were told that people were lacing bubblegum with LSD on Halloween. Our school district even sent out notices about it.

As part of their initiation, gang members* will drive around at night with their headlights off. If you flash your brights to let them know their lights are off, they’ll shoot you.
*This obvious horseshit was reported on local TV news in noted gang-infested hellhole . . . Bellingham, Washington.

For me it was Gene Simmons keeping a live scorpion in a box on his belt. My mum told me that when I was around 8.
I’m sure someone is going to tell me this was true…

I heard people say he cut off the tendon below his tongue so he could extend it longer.
