I don’t really understand why Geese is so popular. I suppose it’s not meant for me. My neighbors kid is in the band and they seem like nice folks so I wish them all the best but I don’t really understand the appeal.

It sounds like you asked AI to make music that sounds like all the "indie" rock from the last 15 years at once, and then choose the third best result.

Geese is the word, it’s the word, it’s the word…

Gotta break ranks. That solo album is real good. If rich kids are going to make music it might as well be like that.

^ Agreed.

I don't like the band tracks I've heard enough to stick with them, tried a couple times.

Fuckin’ pulled off a post-nuclear hangover feeling like Kerouac’s “one fast move or I’m gone” never got out of bed, all in under 5 minutes. More suited to 11 pm than 11 am but there is really something here.

Can't do it. His voice kills me. I hate his singing style so much. He isn't untalented, it just rubs my fur the wrong direction. He also sounds like he has a mouth full of Skittles.

Saw them last night in Houston. Really good. They’re basically a bunch of 20 year olds that grew up on Fender Deville bands.

There’s not a lot to dislike here. They played through amps w/ minimal pedals, had a good drummer, used Television style techniques for aorta broken pretty guitar lines. Vocals fit in better with the band, though when the guy is playing with a group he kind of leans into the Thom Yorke thing - sings way different than on the solo album. Made sure the crowd was being safe like all our fav nice guys pretending to be mean bands.

The band has their own thing going on, I think the records have modern production flourishes that are sort of distracting.

I mostly went because I fell in love with the solo album and knew my wife would be into it, which she was.

She said they weren’t that cute though, looked like a bunch of nerds? Is that true?!

Like most bands with three guitars and keyboards that aren't The New Year, I don't understand based on this song why they have so many people on stage playing instruments.

Did not like dude's voice on that solo song. Nick Cave endorsement doesn't really give me hope that I'd like much else.

Hey, at least it's people 20 years younger than me playing instruments in a band and playing through amps live, it's not for me but at least it's something for someone else.
