Pinkerton affects me emotionally. Their two good albums can overshadow bad ones, since the lead singer has confidence problems.

Linus Van Pelt wrote:I voted Not Crap, like months ago. Then I heard their new single on the radio. "Beverly Hills, that's where I want to be" or some shit. Argh. Maybe I want to change my vote. I just don't know. That song sounds like a parody of themselves.
Oh fuck, I just heard that song. That was Weezer. That was a truly horrifying song. I now wanna change my NC based on Blue and Pinkerton to a C based solely on that song. Come to think about it, they never really were any good live, either.

I enjoy some of their songs, but that doesn't stop me from firmly believing that they are a

Is it just me, or does the verse of "Hash Pipe" sound remarkably like the verse of "Kiss Me Deadly" by one Lita Ford?
Yes, remarkably.

....these are not emotional heartbreak songs. The lyrics border on Weird Al territory.
Yes, my thinking exactly. That's what I thought I liked about them, but apparently the bastard was trying to write "serious" lyrics all along. Ha, ha, ha. Emo craze... eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-a-moooooooooooooooo
I posted a reply to it, trying to discuss the obvious, which he did not allow to be posted. Rivers as a person seems interesting and super intelligent...
Rivers seems like a loony.
You guys are so dead on.
