I agree with that Is this Real? Is as close to a flawless record as you can get. I haven't heard any of their stuff post Over the Edge, but I like everything up to that point, though Is this real? Stands out head and shoulders above the rest.

I just recently got into this band when i bought "over the edge" on lp. i was in portland and some friends had mentioned them as something of a portland icon for punk rock.

my question is: does anyone else see how much the hot snakes "borrowed" from these guys, especially the guitar playing/tone/um...everthing on "over the edge," sans the vocals?

this band is NOT crap. fucking great.

Yes. The extra stuff on the boxed set version is pretty mind numbing as well. "Born With a Curse" is one of the best rock and roll songs ever to grace this world.
