I thought it was obvious.... It is their crypt stage set including a 16 foot robotic 'Eddie'.

Jason? Jay? Am I right?

Here is Jason with 'Eddie"

Mayfair guessed it, but that's not Eddie. That's Jay.

how has it been this long and nobody's asked the something-million dollar question?

what was the #1 best?

Finally someone takes the bait.

The #1 best Dianogah gimmick (if you don't count the "hey, we have two basses and no guitar!" gimmick) was a few years ago at the Fireside while opening for Don Cab. We had a bunch of TVs and VCRs on stage. After playing a few songs Jay mentioned that we had brought some videos to play, because we knew that we weren't the most exciting band to see live. The videos were tapes of various Dianogah shows that people had sent us over the years. At the time it was funny. It still seems funny to me. Maybe it is not funny.

I saw them quite a few years ago at a bar called the Bug Jar. Didn't know them beforehand but left the place a fan.

Good music, witty stage banter, NOT CRAP.

Pfft ...Two bass players. Nice gimmick fellas.

I kid. I love this band. I discovered them after I was in a band with two bass players and a drummer and no vocals.

Of course Dianogah is NOT CRAP, Millions And Champions being absolute aces.

But I have to say my favorite Dianogah moments are two songs off compilations;

"What is Your Landmass?" off Ground Rule Double
"Strongdar" off Zum Audio Vol. 2
