Toast is excellent. Also: clear vinyl. Nice.

With Tar I rarely understood the lyrics or what most of the songs were about but since when does that matter? Rock speaks louder than words ((c) Spinal Tap).

Tar were excellent and if they could reform and play in the UK on my birthday that would be splendid, as I never had the chance to see them play live.

Holy shit, Tar made a video!?!?
Like a "we're making a promotional video" video.

A lot of the AmRep bands did - Halo of Flies, God Bullies, etc; the Dope Guns and Fucking in the Streets video compilations were entertaining. I'd like to get hold of those again.

I dunno, I kinda like these videos that the non-video bands made.

I especially like the Tar "uniform".

I quite enjoyed it too. It's also funny to see John Mohr looking so young and with floppy hair!

It reminded me of the few times I got to see them live, and the general demeanor of the band. I feel bad/dumb for never really paying attention to Mark, the non-singing guitarist.

Cheers,
Ben Adrian

I have volumes 1 & 2 on VHS. I would make copies for those interested...I might even have access to a PAL deck here at work.
