So good live, every time. I don't really listen to the records much.

I broke up with a girl at a Low concert early this year and all the drama we were going through still couldn't detract from the show. Maybe it was because Alan seemed to be having an even harder time up there on the stage than we were, off it.

At first I thought your handle was 'lewd jew.'

I like Low a lot--I'm not very familiar with their earlier work, but Secret Name is one of my favorite records, period. How is Alan doing now?

Yes.
I like it a lot.
I swear that on one track theres a loop with a rubber duck squeaking on it though. That confused me a little. Other than that theres some interesting playing, and some fairly fuzzy tone. And lots of long drawn out noise. It's nice.

As for Low, most definitely NOT CRAP!

Apparently Low recorded thier new album with Dave Fridmann again. This news makes me sad.

I love low, but I really did not like The Great Destroyer at all.

I have been living with the new Low record for about a week now, and I like it.

It's different from The Great Destroyer. Then again, it's different from all their other records too.

I think it's going to be one of my favorites for this year.

I hate the re-recorded version of "Murderer" on the new record.

Blasphemy, Sparhawk!

I love Low.

The first six albums are flawless and if you claim otherwise I need you to go and put your head in a roaring furnace. Also, this thread was a classic and well deserves a bump.

I saw Low open for Swans in Atlanta. After Low's third song, or thereabouts, someone very loudly observed "Didn't you already do that song?". At the time, I thought "yeah, good call." I've since reevaluated my opinion on the group, and I'm working on it. Not crap for the immediate future..
