I disagree. This is one of the best covers I've ever heard. I think most Metal fans and even most Black Metal musicians stopped taking it seriously around 1996.

Leviathan owns. So does the My War album. Put 'em together? Pure greatness.

I don't see why that should bother him. I like that lyric (though I love it out of the context of that particular song) and I think the slayer version is better. I actually really love that whole album. It's a harsh subject to tackle and I don't think Ian did it very well to begin with. He comes across as if he's just trying to pick a fight, but I guess he was just being consistent with his genre.

And the Slayer version comes off as better because it's at least honestly and openly racist?

I'm trying to think of the worst covers I know and they're not coming to me. I do have String Quartet tributes to Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park that are pretty dire. Not the worst by any means, though.
