Her reply was, "Cheese? That's the best they can do?"
I then told her how there were probably at least 5 people with the street name of "Peanut" per neighborhood.
Then I start watching Season 3 and Bunk pulls up 89 people "named" Peanut just on the west side.
This show is genius as far as accuracy goes.

Do you remember what he said about searching through all those guys named "peanut?"

"What am I, George Washington Carver up in this mother-fucka."

Hilarious.

I'm not sure if it's sad or not, but I actually miss hearing people talk in that Baltimore derelict as opposed to everyone in Wisconsin sounding like they're from Fargo.

I felt the same way for the first few episodes. Even more heresy: after watching the first season, I watched a season of the shield, which I thought was better. I think after awhile the characters grow on you a bit, you start hating some and liking others. for me, the 4th season was the pinnacle.

I bought i the other day used for $15.
It's sitting on a shelf in the living room tempting me to start it, but I'm afraid that it will be too depressing.
You watch it yet?

I saw it when it was on HBO. It was a long time ago, but I remember it being pretty great. Lt. Daniels wife plays a very convincing crackhead.
