on an up note, that spin-off "origins" is canceled too.

Try telling that to any FOX sitcom that has survived churning out 24 episodes of bullshit for multiple seasons.

I'm bummed if the season's really over after only 11 episodes, but on the other hand, it gives them the chance to regroup and treat Season Two as an overall mulligan, and i could live with that. Plus, it means the Season Two DVDs will be really cheap!

series 2 features my hometown cork, in the worst plastic paddy bullshit fest since the devils own. Cork has basically no crime, so they invented us a mafia, a brand new accent which seems to be Derry via LA via Wales, and a miraculous pub which never has any customers. It is physically painful to watch how stupid the writers are.

I think they may pick up again after the strike ends, if the strike ends. Just basing it on these quotes that came from the Tim Kring apology link Dr. Awkward posted, so I may very well be wrong.

Kring now sees that Volume 2 (the first 11 episodes of season 2) would have been better served if Peter's vision of viral Armageddon had appeared in the season premiere rather than episode 7.

The Dec. 3 episode has been retooled to function as a potential season finale — a move inspired by the writers' strike and a desire to give the show ''a clean slate'' when it goes back into production for Volume 3.

I hope the writers get unfucked in time to give us 11 more episodes. Haven't seen last nights yet, but I'm glad to see most of you gave it your approval.

i hope they do pick it back up! based on something i read last night i think the strike has to end by december 3rd in order for that to happen, while some strikers are anticipating this could last up to six months.

okay some questions for people who watched last night... includes semi spoiler so highlight the below to read.

does anyone else think they are revealing mama petrelli's powers with hints in the last couple of episodes? for instance, when peter suddenly remembers his mother in the future, after she sort of pushes him to? this could be debunked by the fact that he then went ahead and remembered his entire past by looking at a picture of nathan... but then last night they paid special attention to her touching nathan's wife (rubbing her arm, playing with her hair) while convincing her that nathan was crazy. power of persuasion by the touch?

Saw Monday's episode. Really great, I'm glad they pulled the show out of the shit hole it was getting into. I had actually though Peter got all his memories back when he was in the future, so was a little confused by the memory bit in this episode. I think Kenoki might be right about Mama Petrelli too.

If you hear douchebags like that Disney suit, the writers strike ain't going away anytime soon.

The suits are basically saying, fuck you we aint making any money on webisodes so when and if we do, it will be basically paying ourselves back, so STFU and write the webisodes.

The writers are smart, they are basically saying we want a % cut of ANY distribution, regardless of if its profitable now are not.

Great episode. My cousin thought West was somehow bad, or tied to the company. Guess he was wrong. West was better this episode.

The ending was a nice play off of Season 1, and easily the best part of the whole show so far.

Also, notice the lack of Monica? Yeah, that's a good thing.
