Ronnie Spector, great singer with a great voice, and by all accounts a sweet person.
Have been trying to think of more to say beyond that, am coming up blank, but if nothing else, her passing was impetus enough for me to finally pick up the Back to Mono boxset.
I think this is her finest work

NGL, I dig "Take Me Home Tonight."
Yeah, the production might seem to render it rather cheesy, but it's got hooks and "feels." And Ronnie BELTS it on that track. Just...soaring vocals. No shame there, even if Eddie himself wasn't the biggest fan of it, likely because he had to sing it a zillion times.

Jean-Jacques Beineix
(cue sound of Stranglers fans catching their breath for a moment)
One of the big beasts of "flashy" 80s French cinema...Diva, Betty Blue, etc. Personally, I think IP5 is a much underappreciated movie, greatly overshadowed by his "killing" of Yves Montand.
RIP

Do you sing it as a duet? Do you need a Ronnie for your Eddie or vice versa?
