I'm lacking so much context for this story. Is this good writing that's going to be bastardized by bad people adapting it, or is it crap in, crap out?

I've clearly never read Saunders.

It's a magnificent short story, a significant chunk of its charm coming from its literary mode. That it's being adapted at all is fucking absurd; the absolute talent void that is Richard Ayoade being at the helm is obscene.

I know nothing about this, however…
Saunders himself adapated the story with Ayoade

I often slip into Richard Ayoade when I'm doing an effete English character. I'm sure this is appreciated by British citizens.

I searched for cotton candy on youtube, because I saw someone on here mention it and I wanted to watch it being made maybe? Can't remember, I can't sleep.

Anyway this song came up. Thought it was some dumb rapper but it's actually the dingus who featured in that Machinegun Kelly song. He's as bad solo.

There's something about the way he enunciates that just repulses me.

After sitting through that for 20 seconds I was thinking "the younger generation is so lame liking this crap". Then I was reminded of the Prodigy, Powerman 5000, Marilyn Manson, Kajagoogoo, Exploited and others. Every generation is lame.
