This bassman that's been converted into a 1x12 combo seems like a very nice idea (maybe priced a bit high?)

How are they on acoustics?
Fine. They're fine on everything. OK maybe not kick drum. But great on electric guitar, great as an overhead, great on percussion, it's just a really nice sounding mic.

I have a bandmaster reverb as a 2x10 combo. Fucking rules.
That posting has the make offer option. Go low and try to get lucky.

Well, since you want to be talked out of it, I had a 1965 AA165 that I put in a 1x12" blonde combo cab I had made and dropped a 4-ohm Weber Chicago in it. Was really heavy and kinda too small for casters. I also greatly preferred how it sounded with the original 2x12" closed back cabinet with Webers in it. It only lived in the combo cab for about 4 months before I went back to the original format. Was actually easier to gig with, and sounded better that way.
You're welcome.

Had a similar experience with a '64 AA864 Bassman, put it in a 1x12 combo cab (w/ a 4 ohm 90 watt WGS ET-65 that I still have and need to put in a 1x12 cab already) and just never really got along with it in that format. I think in general I prefer closed back or partial open back cabs, and that combo was kinda unwieldy.

Yes. Not really a one-hand carry.
