I would like to beat a hardcore born again Christian to death with a baseball bat, that's what I would like to do.

I would get a massive amount of joy from it. Just thinking of doing it is making me smile. Hearing them call out to their imaginary friend in the sky for help, them asking why, oh god why?
Wack!! Wack!!! Wack!!!!

I am the only one that read this?

If there is anything that should qualify as ban-worthy around here, I would submit that it is someone saying they would like to beat someone to death with a baseball bat because they have faith in God.

Seriously - I hope you are venting.

Perhaps you should pray about this. Then, maybe god will ban him.

Unsurprisingly, you believe science has gathered enough data to rule out a higher intelligence. You don't know what you don't know.

No, I don't believe that, because I understand what science is and how it works.

I would like to reiterate my desire to beat a born again Christian to death. If anyone here knows of a 'Hostel' type Island somewhere where I can pay to make this happen please let me know.

If they are in God's good graces why is it such a big deal? They are going to fly off to happy land, no? I mean, I just wanna help them along a little quicker. They won't shut the fuck up about how great it will be when they die, so what's the problem? I'm doing them a service.

Oh, wait...that's because it's a bunch of horseshit and they know it and you know it and everyone else knows it.
They talk the talk but they don't really wanna die, do they? They are scared shitless, aren't they?

They get off on feeling this imaginary persecution for their religion, why not start making them feel REALLY persecuted?

If you put a Turban on him first you could do it, unquestioned, under the Arc De Triumph.

In my experience, as a practicing Catholic, the most openly discussed prejudice is...anti-atheist. We put God on our money, in our coutrooms, in our pledge of allegiance...all of which explicitly states that an atheist is not a full part of our society. I have friends who will openly state this. It's all bullshit.
Yes, there is a bullshit backlash from the atheist community, but in my experience it all starts from the condescension of the Christians.
What are the queers doing to the soil?

The Oxford English Dictionary defines prejudice as a preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience. That seems like a good and concise definition to me. So if I decide, after many years of religious education, attending church and living in a predominately religious community, that although many religious people are fine upstanding citizens they nevertheless believe in things that there is no real evidence for, I am well within my rights to point this out. I don't think that's prejudice.
I don't think the people posting here are necessarily representative of the world at large. Religious believers are not members of some sort of persecuted minority, they are in fact very much in the majority, an influential majority. There are many individual religious people I admire, but that does not make their beliefs exempt from criticism.

Yeah, I love how I can't go 4 steps out of my house without seeing or hearing some mention of 'god'
Says it right on the fucking money. There's a Jesus billboard on the end of my block, there are Jesus stickers on cars parked on my block. Every other radio station some asshole yammering on about god.

But that's right they are so persecuted, nobody will let them believe their stupid shit without hassling them.

Uh......I gotta tell ya, that don't seem to be the case.

I was in Vancouver, watching people smoking pot right in front of the cops, at the same time yelling and carrying signs that say 'Legalize weed'

Uh, looks pretty fucking legal to me man. That cop is watching you do it.

People get fucke dup in their head and off on these weird persecution trips. Makes them feel special and important and radical.

Being a born again Christian is just about the least radical thing I can ever imagine anyone on the planet doing. It's like devoting your life to vanilla pudding.
