The prison firefighters thing isn't just California, though. WA also does it. They get $1.50/hr for training, and the state minimum for actual firefighting.
We're headed for social anarchy when people start pissing on bookstores.

But in most political systems you don't vote for the party leader at all. The US is anomalous in having a long, drawn-out process to select a candidate, and then have the whole thing decided by a weird and anti-democratic Electoral College anyway.

It's sad that politics has devolved to this level but it's hard not to feel they are being hoisted by their own petard. He's a couch fucker, and it's hilarious to see them complaining that it's not true because nobody cares if it's not true and YOU DID THIS.
