but isn't that a booster? i thought that if your amp wasn't in the vein of breakup a boost will only add more volume. i don't think i could get my twin to breakup at rehearsal and live show levels.

it is a booster, but it causes both my Ampeg reverb rocket and our other guitarist Sun Beta lead to add some crunch, not alot but enough... when cranked...

have you tried the Danelecto DTE??? its a good clone of an echo-plex.

Those switches suck, and aren't as easy to slam on when you are playing live.
Good stuff for the money, but there are better things for sure.

The Sib Mr. Echo is a great "analog" digital delay that behaves a lot like a Memory Man. The of course there's the MM itself, which is a really cool piece.

Fender Telecaster (japan) or
Squier Strat (korea) with USA pickups
this goes to:

Boss CS-3 Compressor (still figuring it out a bit)
Tech21 XXL ( best pedal ever for high-gain)
Yamaha MagicStomp ( tuner + delay + reverb + tremolo )

into a Fender Twin.

i'm in the hunt right now for a overdrive pedal for lo-gain situations, for the sound that the twin will never give to me (slightly overdriven tube amp). Any suggestions? mxr zakk wylde? tube screamer? i used a super overdrive for a while but i don't liked it much.
That's a really tricky thing to ask for... the Barber LTD is pretty cool, but I don't know if it's that easy to get where you are.
