Jesus I have to agree. It's pretty eerie how cold this cover is.
Rage Against the Machine does some really good late '80s rap covers on that covers album of theirs, but their cover of "Down on the Street" is an abortion.

Dinosaur Jr's version of "Chunks"is better than Last Rights even though they play it straight as can be.
