I love my blue box. Just pulled it off the shelf last month. I need to splice in a little boost circuit to help with the low volume. Maybe an lpb-1? They sound nice and greasy.

A blue box parallel with a green ringer is something I keep wanting to try.

This one has a fixed Super Hard-On style boost tacked on the end for that very reason.

Side note. I owned a 70s Block logo Blue Box and Dunlop's 1st reissue Blue Box at the same time years ago. The reissue was significantly lower volume than the original one for some reason and sounded a little less smooth overall.

In not so many words, FM four_oclocker_2.2 suggested something like this awhile ago and I got stalled out on the development. If I ever get a moment i could bring it back.
