I have to second this. Creston Spiers' vocals are so perfect for Harvey Milk's music that someone would need to invent them if they didn't exist — 16rpm primal yowl, emotionally naked, simultaneously vulnerable and hyper-masculine. Makes me think of what Richard Meltzer described as "full mammalian presence" — TOTAL HUMAN APPROACH to the microphone.
