I'd be a little pissed if that were my guitar I paid 3k for.
Jack White didnt pay dollar one for that guitar.
Oh totally, plus he has a road crew who can whip it back together. But I'm just going off the Sweetwater price of what the street model sells for.

I still think that [Jack White] signature amp is pretty cool, even though I have ZERO use for it.
Same. I'd love to buy one but have no justification.

I used to be slightly annoyed by the OG Mustang bass, then the Guitar Center Mustangs with Precision Jazz pickups became mandatory for every band and now I’m really annoyed by them.

They're solid, my only gripe is the pickup selector switch is in a crappy place for how I pick, otherwise I'm into them.

I think Peavey T-40, 60 etc. belong in the ugly instruments thread.

I find them ugly-sexy in a utilitarian way.
I have a black/maple T-45 that I think is quite fetching. Looks like this one:

I like them in a "that dog is so ugly it's cute" way. Think they look better than anything Travis Bean ever made. I think TB500 look like someone tried to build a T60 in their garage with an aluminum neck. On that subject, Aluminum necked guitars suck to play and hold. Not for me. A gear confession I thought I would never make is, I'm over big/heavy amps. Small modeling pedal into a small poweramp like a Furman SP-20A into a speaker is fine and lighter. My bass rig just has a TC Electronic BAM200 with a Rustybox hitting it on a pedal board. It's fine and tiny. I still like little single speaker tube amps but thats it. Like all those masonite Sears amps and stuff that was bottom of the barrel in the 60's is more interesting to me than a AC30. Nothing big ever again for me.
That T45 looks great to me!

I've had an Epiphone LP for a couple few months. I don't think it's for me, in that it never "sat" right on my body no matter how I adjust it.
I also don't think I'll be playing anything with humbuckers again.

I've pretty much come back around to if I'm only gonna play a show every month or two, fuck it, bring the heavy ass tube amp and the heavy big cab, instead of trying to do something lighter and smaller. Would/will definitely feel different if I ever play a couple shows in a row, but if it's only moving boxes around town I could use the exercise!

That bridge is an eyesore for sure. But so is the Rick bridge kind of. Would love a Schaller on my 4000 but can't be bothered to swap/mod it.
Kind of in love with this:
