I'm sure it was a stolen idea, but Hart bakery in Copenhagen sells a KimCheese, sandwich, which substitutes kimchi. I agree that cabbage is an unexpected winner.

Maybe my fellow citizens and I should start pushing our North American identity. The more I think of it the better that is. Pull in Canada and Mexico as part of our mental image of our place. If it could actually catch on (it couldn't) it would seriously decrease dickishness by a large margin.
I read one little thing, once about EU citizens not identifying strongly as European but instead as part of their specific country. I wonder if that's true.
