How bizarre. Nice result for all of us ITFC supporters on this forum. Well, thanks for talking me into joining up with the league of slackers. Not a bad game week for me so far then. Anything can happen tomorrow. This has been fun..

Sunderland's midfield and defence were SUPERB against Liverpool yesterday.
Steed Malbranque was especially excellent, and Diouf looked promising. Just need a striker who'll score goals, and to get rid of Daryl Murphy.
At least we didn't see Anthony Stokes anywheer near the squad. Apparently he's not too happy to have lost the number 9 shirt to, um, nobody yet.
Asked about the decision to make Stokes his new 44, Keane collapsed on his desk in mock despair. “Please don’t go down that bloody road,” he pleaded. “You can read too much into these things and the players are obsessed with these bloody numbers.
“We don’t think Stokesy is a number nine, you can look at it like that. Apparently he used to be 44 at Arsenal. Allegedly. 144 more like!
Anyway, Torres' goal was great yesterday and it was good day out, only spolit by some Liverpool idiots in the home seats. I felt sorry for the Irish Sunderland fan who protested, got hurled down the bottom few rows of the upper tier (I seriously thought it was curtains for him - he wasn't far off coming off the bottom and landing on the fans below) and then got arrested for his troubles.

Chelsea look a bit like the Arsenal of last year today. With Deco, Ballack and Joe Cole they create some wonderful chances. Of course, at various times in the pre-season I had all three of them and Anelka but eventually decided on Fat Frank Lampard, hoping that his new contract would inspire him to brilliance. Half an hour in he's the only midfielder not to get a goal or an assist. He has inexplicably passed it to the opposing keeper and looked pained a few times though. Expect Pompey to rob Chelsea of their clean sheet towards the end, just to make sure I score fuck all from today's fixtures.
Edit - I forgot Fat Frank takes their penalties. Lucky bastard! What was Distin supposed to do there anyway? Very unfortunate.
Edit Again - All fucking pre-season I told everyone I ever met that Deco was going to be outstanding. For fucking months I said it. Yet I still took him out of my team on friday because I'm an over-thinking twat. Seriously though. Pompey weren't even bad today, Chelsea are just fucking good. They're Champions this year or I will eat my own arse.

Although no question is stupid, I tend to come up with a few now and again... Here's one. Can we see each others teams? If so, how? Thanks geezers!

On the League Of Slackers page, click on any team name in the league table and it'll take you to their team.

Just go the League of Slackers, and click on their team name. It wasn't showing them at the start of the day yesterday because no scores had been processed (you can only see their team for the week, after the games have started)
