For Steve V.: In Wisconsin, there's not a hell of a lot for kids to do. Some of them start bands. Some of them have a lot of time on their hands. Some of them drop acid in Green Bay basements and play their instruments all the livelong day...go on tours with Warhammer 48K...smoke pot endlessly. Some of them are 15 years old when they make an album like New India while your thumb was up your butt.

Wow. These kids are awesome. I don't even want to know where they'll be at age 20.

Though, I did a search on myspace. There's like 50 bands called "Face For Radio" and oddly enough, almost all of them sound like the same band. haha.

Don't drag me into this. Those are live shows not otherwise available to buy.

There is a difference between live shows and official studio recordings, at least for the true purpose of this thread.

drummer posts here. it was recorded at EA. It's probably best if this doesn't get put up.

Noise rock band from Detroit. They put on a pretty good live show. Go see them if you ever get the chance, but don't stand near the stage unless you don't mind getting smacked in the face with papier maché monster masks or splashed with phosphorescent paint.

What is this, anyway?

I fully understand the true purpose of this thread, as I would hope my participation in it would indicate. I'm one of the last people to criticize anyone for posting up some fantastic music!

Just laughing at the blinding irony.

Apparently it's fine to swap music here, as long as the artist isn't somebody known to the community.

Would anyone consider posting that Godspeed tape in a non-rar format? I don't know what the fuck to do with rar files.

They are at age 20. That album is pretty fucking old. We saw Shellac together in Milwaukee with another great young band called Jackalope. They're called Catacombs of Rome now. They're in my top 8! Haha...
