2019 release - Altarage - The Approaching RoarBandcampPretty fucked-up metal for some species that has a lower range of hearing than humans do. Real downtuned and just a littlescary. For music that's got little in the way of melody or figure-out-able song structures, it's actually kind of dynamic. The music is complex enough to reward repeated listening but not unapproachable (as I find, say, Gorguts to be). Check out the opening riff on Inhabitant.= Justin

Really into this record. I really like that it sounds kind of improvised if you are not paying attention to it, but the more attention you pay to it, the more constructed it seems. Very Early free jazz in some way.phpBB [media]
