I simply like to excercise my right to express my opinion on Internet Message Board subjects for entertainment purposes.
I am far from being an Angry Guy. Opinionated, sure.
Is a synth an OK 'instrument'/thing to use to make music?

I'm not really a fan, but if what I've heard about Kid Koala is true, well, he cuts, syncs, and cues on the fly, with no need for headphones, in a way that is nearly inhuman. That takes exceptional skill of some sort...whether it qualifies as 'craftsmanship' or 'art' is for the listener to decide.

I had no idea that Duke Ellington fought such pitched battles with the English language.

Andy Rooney did an entire 60 minutes segment on balls. He must have been pissed at someone in the studio or management. "There's big balls. Small balls. Oblong balls. Balls you hit, Balls you throw..." It was very similar to the nuts list in Best In Show. I sat there, each minute ticking away, amazed that he had such a set himself. It's kind of interesting, how you're able to discern things like that through simple variations on the same word. You're able to discern his seething heat for someone he works with.
And then there's Maude...

I don't care much for Andy Rooney's schtick, and his eyebrows frighten me.

It used to be exciting to get up early Saturday morning and grab a box of Quisp and go down to the Family Room.
Heckle and Jeckle, Ray Rayner and Friends, The Beatles cartoon show, Looney Tunes, The Three Stooges.
Now what do they have? Bratz? Sparkly advertisements for cheap 'n ugly Chinese-made toys masquerading as entertainment? Feh.

I made a big score off a torrent site a couple years ago, and d/l'd what I believe to be the entire series. The basement is so full of full of DVDs and other stuff stacked up that I can't locate them now, otherwise I would upload them to the sendspace.
The scripts are as corny as you would expect, but it was very surprising to see that they would include Beatles non-hits as well as the songs you would expect. Pretty revolutionary.

I was disappointed but not surprised as a kid to find out that it wasn't really The Beatles voices.
