George Crumb. A lot of his music moved me. When I was younger I had some records of the guitarist David Starobin playing his works. They inspired me even though I was/am too dumb to wrap my head around them. Here is his obit and a video of his most famous peice.

But for good reason, it’s not the only thing.

Supposedly the guy was able to question other right wingers and push them on matters of ethics. Still, I get no joy from the Buckley meets Thompson shtick.
