I agree that a three of Henderson, Keita, and Fekir would be wide-open - and not ideal. Indeed, it was open when they were putting Coutinho in that role. But I think Keita has good defensive qualities. If they were to make sure that Keita and Henderson covered the ground defensively, then Fekir could do his thing. It's not ideal, but if they sign him, that's probably the best they could do, besides sit him on the bench. It's not what I want either - but Klopp doesn't take my phone calls anymore. Like I said, I really don't see the need for him. He was probably the only person they could have thrown on in place of Salah in the final that could have still kept some of the threat and forward momentum. We all knew that Lallana had too much rust. I was even surprised by that choice. I might have even gone with throwing Solanke on instead of Lallana and letting Mane and Firminho try and pivot off of him. At least he would have caused some physical problems and given us height in the box. Not really how Liverpool plays these days though. Also, he wouldn't exactly impress anyone as a goal scoring threat - not that Lallana has done much of that recently either. Going back to the midfield though. This just happened: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/44284792Fabinho. Really solid defensive midfielder if he can adapt his game to the Premier League. So with Fabinho and Keita in that's definitely Can gone, and looks like Milner will be cover at this point.
