If Henry Kissinger (rest in piss) came out for Harris, he'd still be Henry Kissinger.

Trump is fucking awful, but Dick Cheney is objectively worse.
I feel like I am not stupid.

But, yeah, you are not wrong.

I just wanna crawl back in bed.

I don't know who is worse since they're specialists in different venues of awful. I'll let this one rest in the mind expanding reality of paradoxes and gray areas. The enemy of my enemy can still be my enemy.

Cheney is awful and wrong about most everything but not this.

Come on, these guys are warmongering scumbags but Trump is like self-inflicted sabotage. He would unleash chaos on the world. He could be considered a Russian asset. It's some pretty convoluted logic to conclude that what has happened is that Harris is SO RIGHT WING that it convinced Dick Cheney to switch allegiance from Republicans to Democrats. Dick Cheney is as Republican as ever. This is wholly about Trump.

No way is traditional Republican reptiles splitting from MAGAs a bad thing. It's like when the monsters in Doom start fighting each other.

Cheney is responsible for the deaths of at least a million people, he helped set the stage for Isis and has wrought chaos and misery in much of the world for the last quarter century. His endorsement is poison, and should be treated as such.

The fact it seems to be seen as a minor victory tells you all you need to know about the whole fucking endeavour.

I'm not saying people shouldn't vote for the democrats, though. Do what you've got to do to keep Trump out, I don't envy any of you.

I'm just saying people shouldn't act like Trump is worse than Cheney, like the lesser of two evils isn't evil or like both parties aren't standing on mountains of dead people of colour the world over. The inevitable reformation of absolute monsters by liberal media should always be called out for the grotesque act it is. That's it!

Did you see when one of the networks did an awe shucks piece on retired GWB and it was just him at his Texas ranch painting portraits of his dogs? It was totally that ^. He was the most hated president of my lifetime up to that point, yet I could feel all the rage leaving me. So weird. Must never forgive the war pig!

I can't claim to be "above it all," immune to every petty thing, but in between now and Election Day a bunch of people will be coming out of the woodwork and weighing in on all of this. The average person could probably put most of these hot takes on mute and not be much worse off. Just sayin'!

Some of the individuals weighing in might be prominent Republicans who've got buyer's remorse, people who've been relatively silent until recently, when it's become more and more obvious that Trump is a losing proposition for the country and the average person is just. plain. sick of him.

I'm not a GOP sympathizer, but their party is actually in a bit of jam, after having let themselves become synonymous with Trump and Trumpism for so long. They'll need to pivot to something else soon enough and the more some people keep clinging to Trump as the answer to all of their problems, the more awkward all of it will be.
