Trump is a cunt.
Disagree. Kamala wiped the floor with him. She gave a masterclass in how to provoke him into becoming his true self.

The instant that was over with, Taylor Swift endorses her. *chef's kiss*

If the Democrats get in, everybody to the left of the Democrats still gets to hammer them for being centrist sellouts and everything they're not doing a good enough job at. That is part of the deal.

If Trump gets in, fucking God help us all. Between him and Musk it feels like the last ten years have been drenched in stupid. So, so sick and tired of bullshit and nonsense and grown men acting like children.

The thing I gather from reading reactions - which, why would I fucking watch this thing? what in god's name would i do that for? - is that his brain is so rotted that he's unable to even coherently regurgitate pogromist hate fantasy

I didn't say she didn't. I think she did, and I'm glad of it.

The whole thing though, was a fucking mess.

I think what happened was exactly what was expected. Harris was super slick and insanely practiced. Trump was an unhinged grandpa.

The part where she needled him on boring rallies… he couldn’t resist and ended up yelling “they’re eating the pets”.

Seriously folks, that this race is even close reflects incredibly poorly on the average American.

And before Gaza gets brought up… sorry but for a vast majority of people this isn’t on their radar. Which is even more depressing.

Any debate worth its salt would have canned everything within minutes, on account of one side playing an entirely different game. The way that cunt it indulged is fucking appalling.

I was a big fan of Harris' line on how she never asked anybody she defended if they were Democrat or Republican; she only asked if they were OK. I also think she was more succinct than any previous attempt to point out that her opponent only runs on problems and not solutions.

One grim takeaway though, was her falling on that line time and over, that there is more unites us than divides us. If this race is anything like in the balance then that's just not true anymore. Probably best avoided as a line altogether.

Agree - failure of the corporate media assuming that equal airtime = accountability. Their job is not to platform any idea, their job is to filter the message through the lens of the truth.

But like most American ideals, it's been corrupted by Capital.
