It’s great - turned out to be my guitar player’s that he regretted selling. God is good.
I have one of these (50 watt) that i need to get rid of. Anyone that's interested should pipe up!

Had a very nice Great River maq-2nv fall into my lap yesterday.
It sounds very nice. Believe the hype.
That is some serious, fuck-off, level eq hardware right there. I've loved their preamps for a decade + now.

Do you do mastering?
Yes. I do.
I do a lot of recording/mixing/mastering, but I also do a lot of remote classical stuff, and this thing takes the cake in that arena.
I had an NTI and a Telefunken/ANT that i would use, but the Great River does both and it sounds incredible.
I love you.

I really have a hard time telling this apart from my '78 JMP - for those unwilling to pipe up!

Against my expectations, the de-essing is fine, but the high frequency limiter is magic. It seriously tamed the cymbal hash from a compressed room mic without darkening the snare hits. High pass and low pass filters sound great too.
Are those linkable?
I think not. Some people seem to run pairs in dual mono across a stereo track, but I'm not sure if that might get some of the weird sideways pull you can get on a stereo image that happens with a regular pair of unlinked compressors.
