241Picked up a used Warm Audio WA-412 4-preamp API clone. Sounds good and it's nice to finally have a preamp with polarity switches. So much gain I doubt I'll ever take any of the pads off though.

242Picked up a Laney Pro-Tube 100 for 400 bucks because I just can’t ever shake the sound of a cranked memory man in the effects loop of the later AORs.
It’s great - turned out to be my guitar player’s that he regretted selling. God is good.

246Oh yeah, I got an Empirical Labs Derresser for the 500 rack.
Against my expectations, the de-essing is fine, but the high frequency limiter is magic. It seriously tamed the cymbal hash from a compressed room mic without darkening the snare hits. High pass and low pass filters sound great too.

Do you do mastering?
I do a lot of recording/mixing/mastering, but I also do a lot of remote classical stuff, and this thing takes the cake in that arena.
I had an NTI and a Telefunken/ANT that i would use, but the Great River does both and it sounds incredible.
