Re: Streaming Netflix/Hulu/etc. - what's good lately?
241Enjoyed Reacher, loved every second of Archive81, and am waiting for BCS 6
1.5 eps into S2 and I'm out...Season 1 was solid though.penningtron wrote: Fri Apr 22, 2022 12:56 pmYeah.. this one really seemed perfectly 'wrapped up' in 1 season. I'll proceed to S2 cautiously.enframed wrote: Fri Apr 22, 2022 11:56 am Starting Russian Doll season 2. It's OK 2 episodes in. I like Natasha Lyonne a lot, her voice, inflections, attitude, but in this season I feel like she talks too much, like every single thought she has is uttered. It's a bit much. I don't recall her being quite so vocal in Season 1.
It's my own fault for zoning out pretty quickly (tiredness, weed..) but when Bela Lugosi Is Dead came on I rolled my eyes. Cheesy-ass American Horror Story beat you to that one like 10 years ago..kmc wrote: Sun Apr 24, 2022 6:08 am1.5 eps into S2 and I'm out...Season 1 was solid though.penningtron wrote: Fri Apr 22, 2022 12:56 pmYeah.. this one really seemed perfectly 'wrapped up' in 1 season. Yes, forgot the whole nostalgia factor going hard in season 2. As much I loved and was fascinated by the Guardian Angels in my youth, the nostalgia for the US-80s, for me, just isn't there.penningtron wrote: Sun Apr 24, 2022 9:06 amIt's my own fault for zoning out pretty quickly (tiredness, weed..) but when Bela Lugosi Is Dead came on I rolled my eyes. So far I'm a little bit underwhelmed. I'm sure it'll all come together, but last season was so intense, and it seems like aside from the Ignacio drama, they're spending a whole lot of time clowning on Hamlin, a character I'd be fine forgetting about. It's the last season and it's building to something huge. Fucking with Hamlin just seems like treading water.gonzochicago wrote:NEW BETTER CALL SAUL
