I'm at a loss as to why Hitchens is pro-Iraq war but God is not Great is a great book.

He also did a nice job in debating Ralph Reed and Sean Hannity on FOX news.

A basic Wiki search on Hitchens shows his option on Israel:

"Hitchens regards the complete occupation of Palestine as an example of colonialism and an unjustifiable subjugation of another people. He has described Zionism as being based on "the initial demagogic lie (actually two lies) that a land without a people needs a people without a land."

Not mentioning something isn't license for other party's to throw in their opinion.

So what, he consistently berates US support for Israel and attacks Jewish settlers as religious lunatics and one of the greatest threats to world peace and stability.

I imagine life would become rather droll if every time you voice an opinion you have to mention every opinion you have just to pander to the more ill informed in the audience.
