Enbridge Oil is running a pipeline right through the heart of some of the most pristine Mississippi wetland areas where I grew up, and it's disgusting. Took the long way home from a trip to visit mom and dad just to see it firsthand. Heartbreaking.

I apparently did something wrong, my wife won’t tell me what I did
How childish.
Happening again today.
I feel like a real fuck-up today.
My first wife used to do that shit all the time.

There are times when you ask very specific questions that you depend upon the answers for as you then take the next step in whatever process you are involved in, professionally. And when you take that next step, only to be foiled by their coming back and saying, "Well, actually..." then you have to tell your boss, who will then doubt your ability to convey information to people, even though you have been doing it successfully for over twenty years. That's a little detail from my day.

Question: My tune memory was jogged and I want to see if it's right: Does the Diablo Tristram theme begin with an add9 chord?

"Meat world" writers conference upstate got cancelled this week. Guessing the Miami Book Fair will be a no-go as well, at least in person. These are the least of Florida's worries this year.
int main() {
bool thiscodeworks = 1;
int time = 30;
cout << "I spent " << time << " minutes studying this. \n";
cout << "Looks fun. \n";
cout << "I can get into this. \n";
if (thiscodeworks = 1) {
cout << "(This code works)\n"; }
string k = "k";
string thx = "thxbye";
cout << k+thx;
return 0;
}

I wake and have coffee, do my thing, shower quickly, and then go for a bike ride just as the sun's coming up. "Red sky in the morning..." but it looks closer to peach/orange.
The campaign included a crusade in the state-controlled mass media to expose literary pseudonyms of Jewish writers by putting their real names in parentheses in order to reveal to the public that they were ethnic Jews.
Uncanny.

Went to a film festival yesterday, it's a indoor screening of an outside movie festival that is taking place in Motovun each year.
Saw Sun Children last night. What a breathtakingly beautiful movie that just blew me away. On a bad day I couldn't even get myself to think about how really great I have had it thus far in my life. Without sounding like an asshole and false moralizing, I really needed to get a grip of how the real world really looks like, the one that is constantly on the struggle side.
This was such a greatly spent 99 minutes of my life. Roohollah Zamani is a star.
Rare Beasts today. I'm really looking forward to David Byrne’s American utopia by Spike Lee on Thursday.

One of the major music venues in town are doing concerts once again this fall, and one of the first acts to celebrate this occasion is fucking Clawfinger. Who the fuck goes to see Clawfinger in 2021?
Though I would be curious to see if they still have the balls to play their signature song:
