Pretty big fan of "Breakout." If "Telstar" wasn't already taken as my burial song it could very well be "Breakout."

This one's good. It reminds me of Pizzicato Five which in turn reminds me of Bacharach or Wilson or Gainsbourg so I guess I should've just led with that.

Agree but I'm also thinking of Swedish band Komeda (the album Pop på svenska (1993) is where it's at, altho that Powerpuff tune is sick.)

Also because similarities in the choir/string sounds and the way they resonate give them something of a horror movie sound by default.
