so continuing with the apocalypse theme for the last 2 years, (plague, floods, spotted lantern fly) I spent the evening (8pm to 1am) bailing out my basement as I watched about 3 inches of water creep over the slab as the French drains slowly overflowed. Second time in 3 weeks. We made out fine compared to others. The lady across the street had 2 feet of water in her basement. A friend of mine one town over had to evacuate his house from a second story window, the water rose so fast. I guess it is time to dig a sump pit or two. Or maybe just fuck homeownership and rent. I am getting too old for this crap.

Yes, climate change is real, people.

ugh, I feel this hard. 2 summers ago was really bad seepage wise here (mostly happened mid-September so I'm not out of the woods this season, and even if not, it will keep happening). The only reason I agreed to do this again and have a basement was for music, but turns out the noise has been bothering my partner all along and no one over 40 has time or wants to put the effort into being in bands anyway.

If you're planning in having your spirits lifted by BD'JP, I may need to help you with your expectations a wee bit.

I am really getting pretty good at this job. Started working at Hörmann . Don't know how the company is well known in the US, but here in EU we are kind of a big deal, probably a leader in Industrial and residential doors solutions, quality wise.

And I can't be further from the company line man, but I really enjoy working in this little team we have here in Zagreb. We are about 20 of us here and we're covering the entire country. I get to visit all kind of cool places in country that I never seen before, whole different set of production and residential facilities that I would never be able to if I didn't get this job.

One week you go to a place like this company that focuses primarily on protein isolates of beans and potatoes.

And next week you get the chance to spit across the border with Slovenia.

My country is so fucking beautiful. If you ever get the chance to get here, hit me up. We have the finest craft beer in the world too.

Can you, for the love of anal sex, please keep yourself safe?

Thank you!
