I'm fairly certain that I remember Creston from Harvey Milk rocking one of those when they toured that last couple times.

This would explain a lot. I have an SB-2 & I fought with the neck for a long, long time before bucking up and getting it professionally repaired.

FYI, before I knew anything, I figured the whole neck needed replacing & G&L were absolutely atrocious support-wise. They said they HAD to be the ones to replace the neck and would not just sell me one etc. AND they were going to charge me $650 to do it which is considerably more than I paid for it originally. Get stuffed G&L, never again.

That whole system is nuts. The tagline “SOUNDS REALLY GREAT” is oddly amusing I thought.

Kinda wish that I had that whole rig, but I only copped the deck.

Finally graduating from my Arturia microbrute/rack brute combo and building a 7hp x 104hp Eurorack case. I was adamant about staying within the constraints of the rackbrute but I hate tiny knobs and Maths and Clouds each take up about 1/5 of the space available.
