Little details from your day

Last night I fell asleep laying sideways on the couch with my girlfriend, my arm under her neck. Apparently I wrenched my shoulder or something by doing this, because today the left side of my back has an unbearable stiffness that hurts excessively whenever I inhale. This would probably not be quite as bad except that I'm also recovering from a sinus infection, so my day is full of sharp-inhalation sniffles. I am almost ready to ask someone to hit me in the back with a sledgehammer to see if it will loosen things up any.

Do you ever do anything besides complain?

Rachael, I see I have upset you. I'm very sorry for making that obvious joke over there in the other thread. Please try to contain your overreacting to one thread though, as it clutters up the rest some.

Thanks, (emoticon), etc.

I'm going to eat it on the back step with a glass of wine watching the baby stray cats play in the yard, listening to an Afrobeat record as the evening swelters.

I think this is a change for the better.

No, I think it just means you are now officially in the target market for the spambots:

Today was my birthday. Amazingly I worked on this day which I never done before. This though was a plus as i've been out of work for a while and this was the first day at a new job which has happend to turn out a kushti number that i'll think i'll enjoy. Distributing records is a job I didn't think i'd i'd be doing six months ago. Went for a few drinks in my local with some friends including one I rarely see and one I regard as one of my very best friends in my life.
Things seem to going well again I see light at the end of the tunnel.

Yesterday, my Gf and I went to Gaou Island to listen to the Pixies. The place was nice. It's a small island near Toulon. The gig was fine, much better than when I first saw them at Belfort in 2004 but it was 200 km from Nice and I went to bed at 3am. So, working at 8am was hard today.

today i was sleeping late. being unemployed and all. got a letter in the mail saying i didn't get the last job i blew two hours interviewing for. that two hours doesn't even include the commute. you can tack on about another hour and a half for that.

i'm out of cigarettes. it's hot outside. and i've only had a cup of coffee.

also i need to brush my teeth and take a shower.

I finally got a job. The people seem kind and the money's good.

I have some renewed confidence.
