Allright here's the beginning of some "Modern" Jazz. David Murray is the modern Tenor Colossus, this is one of his earliest albums from the mid '70's. Electric Rova is the Rova Saxaphone quartet w/ nels cline, and many others "performing" John Coltranes' AScension in ful electric splendour.more to come fo' sure. especially much more david murray.
Oh yeah, sorry I can't find any of that z'ev I had on mp3.

I've got the Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy BBC TV series at home somewhere, as a series of avi's. I could post that up if anybody's interested.
