The "long time no see" is actually related to the "life as a 2L" (and life as a new dad).

Life as a 2L is awesome (though not as awesome as life as a new dad). Law review is kicking my ass (my note is in awful awful shape with 6 weeks to deadline) and I still don't have a summer job lined up, but other than that, I'm really really liking it, and doing really well. Is it sad that I censored myself from saying "I'm loving it" because I didn't want to sound like a McDonald's ad? Anyway. Yes, good times.
