Ha, I kid. I needed a tech job for the summer because experience is really important at this point. I got an interview with the research group in college (it's a half an hour walk from my house and two friends work there), but after the interview all hope had died.


Yay!

Started a new job today. Well, a temp job (though the woman I'm covering for isn't coming back).

I did nothing. I sat watching someone else work for 8 hours. I earned about 60 quid from sitting.

Hopefully they won't have my workstation set up tomorrow either and I can do some more sitting and staring. I'm a good sitter and a pretty good starer.

Ooh, and you can go for a fag whenever you want which is always awesome.

It was early mourning and I had not drank any, so I could not think of a joke, but I was sure there was one...

Home of the best ices in New York. I am so serious. Today was the first day I got to go since it has been warm (they are open year-round) and I got the lime and the chocolate (separately, because they do not mix flavors.)

I'd call the heath dept. if they mixed Lime with Chocolate. Just kidding.

There was a vendor who used to be positioned within walking distance of Harrington Avenue in the Bronx...amazing fucking Italian ices. I swear to god, the best thing in the world.

I look forward to destroying my body with Italian ices and pastry courtesy of Ferraro's when I'm in the great state of New York at the end of the month.

Benfaremo's kicks him to the curb. The Bronx vnedor was there when I was growing up in the Bronx, and he was pretty great.

I love Ferrara too. But the LIKOC is, indeed, the king.
