Some people, man.

2652The Gary was in the studio last night. Everything went great until it was time to leave. The street was dark and I was unable to see our sound engineer’s truck as I was backing out. Crrrrrunch. My truck was fine, but I probably did about 5 grand worth of body damage to his ride.
Total fucking bummer. I guess that’s what insurance is for, right?

Re: Little Details from Your Day
2653There's a pair of foxes living in the hedge at the back of my flat. The people with windows facing that way usually throw scraps out for them to eat.
A few weeks ago they emerged with three baby cubs in tow. They're adorable and love nothing better than to zoom around in the evenings playing-fighting.
Last week I threw out the remains of a chicken leg from the Sunday roast and I watched in awe as one of the parents picked it up then walked over to another scrap and while still holding the leg in its mouth opened its jaw even wider, like an extendable vise grip, and got a second item in there before plodding off.
I noticed my local supermarket has whole chickens for $4.50 and I'm thinking of air-frying them a whole bird.

2654Wouldn't it be more natural for them to eat it raw? I dunno I'm not a fox dieticianandyman wrote: Sat May 03, 2025 4:39 am There's a pair of foxes living in the hedge at the back of my flat. The people with windows facing that way usually throw scraps out for them to eat.

I'd like to think though that if foxes could understand an oven they'd prefer their prey roasted and basted.
Plato's Cave and all that.
Re: Little Details from Your Day
2656I think you should probably debone whatever you feed them. Dogs, at least, die from chicken bones getting stuck in their throats. Maybe foxes are different...ChudFusk wrote: Sat May 03, 2025 2:55 pmWouldn't it be more natural for them to eat it raw? 2657Oh, man. Ouuuuch. I'm sorry that happened, Dave! Best of luck getting that sorted out. (Very annoying how vehicle design has moved to very-specific assemblies that can't be easily replaced except by OEM packages.)Dave N. wrote: Fri May 02, 2025 5:52 pm The Gary was in the studio last night. 2658If bones could kill a fox then they'd have gone extinct millennia ago, though of course domesticated dogs may have lost some of their resilience or instincts. They've always eaten things with bones, and definitely raw. I think I heard that cooked bones are more dangerous because of the way they break. Either way it won't hurt if you remove at least the larger bones to be safe, though I'm sure they get nutrients from eating the marrow too.enframed wrote: Sat May 03, 2025 4:44 pmI think you should probably debone whatever you feed them. Re: Little Details from Your Day
2659A cursory look online says exactly that: chicken and turkey are alright, if cooked then no bones, as they can splinter and be harmful.
I'm not sure that I would feed them based on what I've read. It changes their behavior significantly and reduces their range etc. May not be good for them in the long run.
A decent little list of food options:

Nothing major here. Just a regular EU cock. I pull it out and there is beans all over my penis. Bean shells all over my penis...
