Kind of interested in trying out a Rusty Box again. I had one of the first run units and regretfully sold it. Loved it when I first got it, but It wasn't doing it for me after I switched over from a Precision to a Thunderbird. I think it might work better for me now with my current bass setup (P/J).

I've finally grown to like the boost function, especially when using the neck pickup on my EGC or Bean.I'm kind of thinking it could replace the VT Bass/TS-808 pedals I'm using now, since I basically EQ those two together to sound like the Rusty Box/Traynor tone anyway. Plus then I'd have the built in boost function without having to add another pedal to the chain, which I could certainly use. I'd actually really like to borrow one for a day or two from anyone in the Milwaukee or Chicago area who owns one just to A/B and make sure, before committing to buying another.
