I feel Frank was a brilliant and proliffic man on the cutting edge in my aspects. I just happen to not enjoy most of his music.

Frank is totally whacky, but I enjoy some of his albums. "Dangerous Kitchen" was the first song I heard by Frank Zappa and I couldn't stop laughing but I enjoyed the song at the same time.

I have been thinking a lot about Frank Zappa lately after stumbling into some PMRC video footage on You Tube. Since then, I've watched all of the Crossfire debates and different talk show appearances that Zappa made in the eighties where he attempted to defend freedom of speech for artists.

Pretty amazing stuff, those debates. Not crap for that.

Frank Zappa was gold until about 1974, and poop after that. Ignoring the Mothers and the early '70s stuff isn't a very smart thing to do if you claim to like weird, innovative rock music.
