Last Crusade was on and my sister was trying to get my mom to say "We named the dog Indiana" in her best Sean Connery accent.
Maybe an hour earlier watching the new Top Gun movie, my mom, totally unprompted: "Tom Cruise' dyed hair looks like shit"

My girlfriend does this all the time. So much so that I made her get a brain scan. Honestly you have no idea…. “pickchea” when trying to say “chickpea” etc.

Sometimes it is the wrong word altogether, but she gets stuck. For example - once, when trying to say “train!” whilst pointing at the actual god damn train, she just stood there pointing at it saying “chair! chair!” with her eyes wobbling side to side. It is like a total girlfriend malfunction or something.

I should start a thread that lists them as they happen….
