Ah good to know, I didn’t really look at their page but just repeated what the Vintage King guy said when I asked about it. Maybe dealers get singles. All good either way

Yeah, I think if you order a pair from Heiserman directly they'll go to the trouble of matching them, but I imagine dealers are just getting a box of singles.
Rob Schnapf loves 'em and he makes great sounding records so I assume you're gonna be mega stoked! Can't wait to hear your impressions.

Another amp I don’t need. I think I’ve got the negatives worked out:
https://reverb.com/item/68356125-fender ... six-reverb
Negatives:
- a lot of replaced parts
- big
- loud
- could get similar amp in smaller package
- hours away
Positives:
- price
- big
- loud
- nice extras

The audacity of those things is great but they truly suck to cart around. Id argue that any price isn’t worth it because you can definitely end up with a permanent injury from getting one out of a vehicle. I know I know, but if this was like a 150w head and oversized 4x12 I wouldn’t say shit. The geometry of the super six wants to kill you

lol yeah there's a super six on local FB Mktplace that I keep putting a covetous & sleazy eye on every time it comes up. The world's dumbest combo amp ever and of course I also have wanted one since I first heard about them. Played a show in Racine a few years back w/ an AmRep sounding band and it did get unexpectedly gnarly.
This example above is by far the cleanest one I've ever seen. Usually they get beat to shit like an ampeg fridge cab due to being so horribly unwieldy & heavy.
Really hard to practically justify a big nasty loud amp any more...but the heart wants what the heart ones. I think lugging around something awful does a thing in your brain that makes you think "the sound is worth it" and you might almost believe it when plug it in just because you worked harder for it. I know plugging in an SVT for a few years really just was super satisfying and have to think at least part of that was sweat equity.
IDK I can't help here. If it sucks, you can surely get your money back easily enough on the re-sell, especially with that case and condition. IDK, w/ that case, maybe put a trailer hitch on it and tow it to gigs?

I loved my old bandmate's Super Six, he always let me use it for shows (he was the drummer) and crucially always helped tote it.

In my experience, the worst pieces of gear that one individual might regularly move are:
Hardware bag with double-braced stands
Ampeg V4

The combo version is even worse, the VT-22.
And if they came w/ the upgraded cast-frame Altecs? Even worse still.

If anyone seriously wants one of those super 6s and feels like driving to Toronto, I'm pretty sure a dude from the other band in my practice space has one he wants to sell. It's been shoved in a corner for literally years. It has some solid Cancon pedigree as I'm pretty sure it was owned by the constantines.

Now there are two Super Sixes to be interested in

This nails both how it feels to desire one of these, and the reality of it.
Does it change the situation if it was never going to a gig? Because I'm getting talked into it, and my Fender Twin is getting a little pissed off about this [Super Six - Man looking at Super Six with sleazy look - Fender Twin looking at man with shocked face] meme situation.
