Would buy a used Boxidizer if one of you decide to part ways with it.

chris jury wrote:Hey, oddball question- can I run our Rusty Box with the main out into an amp and the line out into a mixer at the same time? That would really solve a problem for me. I didn't think to test it last night and won't be back in the space for a week.Should be fine, just watch out for potential ground loops.

Cool- Thanks. The plan is to run it into one of the line/unbalanced inputs on my little mixer, keeping the 4 mic channels available for drum/guitar.

It will be be fine except that the output voltage on the Line out is VERY hot. Make sure you don't clip whatever you are plugging it into.

Delivery Time:I finally went ahead and ordered a Rusty Box pedal after drooling over them for years. From what I can grasp almost everyone on these forums has been impressed by the pedal as well. I ordered mine over 3 weeks ago and the pedal still has not been shipped. Has anyone else here experienced this issue with Tronographic? Is this normal or should I contact them? Any insight is appreciated.

If you were going to pick just one of these pedals for guitar and bass, though mostly guitar, would you pick the Boxidizer or the Rusty Box? Not saying I wouldn't pick up both, but you know, to start with.I should also say this would be for D.I.-style recording.

A lot of people seem to like the Rusty on guitar as well as bass. Personally, as amazing as it is for bass, I never much liked it on guitar. I could be wrong. The Boxidizer on guitar blows my head off. I've recorded a bunch of things with it as a DI and it's fantastic for that. I've been lucky enough to snag both and if either was lost/stolen/destroyed I'd be hassling TheMilford for another come payday.
