Haven't been able to get this out of my head for the past 2 days.

you said you didn't like that one, you flip flopper!

What the are you talking about? Where in that above post did I profess my love for the track? I said it was stuck in my head.

I had never seen Shellac live before those shows, so the majority of the set that afternoon had a greater impact on me than the new track. However, it doesn't mean I can't have it stuck in my head. Woke up the other day singing it a good week after the show. Funny how it lay dormant for a while, only to strike a week later.

Are you drunk right now or are you suffering from mild retardation due to lack of work in the office today?

I thought it might be a Swervedriver cover when I first heard it

That really cracked me up.

I was kidding about the Swervedriver thing, I'm trying to get Peppers worked up...Swervedriver is a buzz word I use when discussing music with him to assure a strong reaction on his part
I have heard swervedriver once, I saw them play with the poster children years ago and they were really awful

BadComrade wrote:Actually, they were really great. I was at that show. I'm guessing you had consumed a lot of pills that night.

That show was only the 1st or 2nd time that drummer had played with Swervedriver. I think it was the drummer from the SST band Run Westy Run. The Swervedriver drummer split while in Canada, and he was the only person they could find that could take his place, somehow.

The Poster Children are almost an impossible act to follow, though.

I just thought they were boring, did nothing for me. Poster Children ruled.

My date for the evening was a girl everyone in school called 'The Red Snapper' then she dyed her hair purple and became 'The Grape Ape'
Ah, good times
